5. The Altar of Incense represents the ministry of intercession constantly given on our behalf by Jesus Christ.
a. Exod. 30.1-7: made of shittim wood, overlaid with gold.
b. Sweet incense was offered on it daily by the High Priest, Exod. 30.7-8.
c. A curse was pronounced on any who would use it for any other purpose than worship, Exod. 30.37-38.
d. Represents Jesus Christ, our intercessor, Heb. 7.25; he prays for us, John 17.9
