2. Antitype: we are to walk holy in Jesus Christ, not with malice or evil living but according to holiness in him, 1 Cor. 5.7-8 .
C. Feast of the First Fruits
1. Type: Lev. 23.9-14; April; the feast of ingathering which occurred at the turning of the year, where all males must come before the Lord, where a sheaf of the first fruits of the harvest was offered, and a lamb sacrificed
2. Antitype: As a celebration of the first fruits of the harvest, this feast points to the resurrection of Christ, who arose the first day of the week, and is the first fruits of those who sleep [have died] in him, 1 Cor. 15.22-23.

D. Feast of Pentecost
1. Type: Lev. 23.15-20; June (or 50 days after the Feast of First Fruits)– the culmination of the Feast of Weeks, whose offering represented the first products of the harvest, Exod. 34.22; Deut. 16.10
2. Antitype: the outpouring of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ on the believers, which resulted in the birth of the Church, Acts 1.5 cf. 2.4.
E. The Feast of Trumpets
1. Type: Lev. 23.23-25; September 1; a celebration of solemn rest, with a memorial proclaimed with a blast of trumpets in a holy convocation, accompanied by an offering by fire to the Lord
2. Antitype: this celebration is a type of Christ’s return and the regathering of Israel by Jesus Christ (cf. Matt. 24.29-31; Ezek. 37.11-14; Jer. 16.14-15).
