b. The testaments deal with the same essential story: the unfolding fulfillment of God’s promise to Abraham in the person of Jesus Christ.

2. The Bible may have numerous subjects and segments, but it only has a single unifying theme: the revelation (unveiling) of Jesus Christ. When read with Christ in mind, the veil of misunderstanding the OT is taken away.

3. We ought to be able to set forth biblical history of salvation in such a way as to see Jesus present in the Old Testament, and completing the meaning of the Old in the New Testament, 2 Cor. 4.6.
