10. Wrap up the meeting with clean up and closing the meeting (post-meeting). After you have hosted your Chapter meeting, get volunteers to help clean up and arrange the room as you found it. Record any monies members gave for the support of the group, and make sure that someone will write up notes regarding any Chapter business decided during the meeting.

In All Things for Your Gathering, Follow the Spirit’s Leading

While the above template, instructions, and outline are helpful and important, nothing can take the place of being Spirit led and guided during your Chapter meeting. This is a spiritual gathering, and as such, should be led by Spirit-filled and Spirit-guided leaders. Listen to the Lord as you enter into your meeting, and make adjust- ments as circumstances dictate. Proverbs 16.9 (ESV) – “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” Make your plans, do your due diligence in thinking through every phase of the meeting, and still, be open to the moving of the Holy Spirit as God directs you in the midst of your gatherings.
