Affirmation for the Day Sunday: Christ suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God. Monday: Christ was put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit. Tuesday: As the Apostles’ Creed declares, Christ the Lord died; he descended to the realm of the dead. Wednesday: Baptism is akin to the salvation of Noah’s kin in the Ark through the flood. Thursday: Christ has been raised from the dead, and is now gone into heaven. Friday: As Christ suffered, died, and triumphed, so those who follow him in suffering will also triumph. Saturday: Jesus Christ is Lord, with angels, authorities, and powers having been made subject to him.
