reproduce in us the same attitude and yieldedness, so your life might again be seen in us, and your Word heard through us, to your greater glory’s sake. In your name we pray, amen. Affirmation for the Day Sunday: The Son of Man must be lifted up from the earth, on the Cross, so humankind may be drawn to him. Monday: Unless a grain of wheat dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Jesus must die that others might live. Tuesday: Jesus teaches that whoever loves his life loses it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it, for eternal life. Wednesday: If anyone serves the Savior, that one must follow me, and where he is, there will his servant also be. Thursday: If anyone serves the Savior, the same will the Father honor. Friday: We are always being given over to death for Jesus’s sake that his life might be displayed through us before the world. Saturday: Jesus prophesied how he was going to die: he would be “lifted up from the earth” and draw all people to himself. Pray without Ceasing – Flash Prayer for the Day Dear Savior, as you gave up your life to die that others might live through you, so fill us with that same love that others may live through our service and sacrifice.
