T he S eason from E aster to P entecost

heaven. We have come to know that we can do nothing apart from you. Help us now to keep our eyes on you, always depending, always waiting, and always listening to you. We are totally dependent on you. Lead us, now and always. In your holy name, we pray. Affirmation for the Day Sunday: Jesus of Nazareth is the True Vine, who alone is our source and our strength. Monday: Jesus is our sole source for life, the only supply for spiritual life and growth. Tuesday: The Father is the Gardener, pruning every branch in Christ that it might bring forth more fruit. Wednesday: Our duty is to abide in the Vine; if we do we will bear abundant spiritual fruit. Thursday: Apart from Christ’s life-giving supply, we can do nothing truly honoring or meaningful for God. Friday: Those who refuse to abide in Christ wither and perish. There is no life outside of Christ. Saturday: We prove ourselves to be true disciples if we bear abundant, abiding fruit in Christ. Pray without Ceasing – Flash Prayer for the Day Lord Jesus, True Vine of the Father, let your life and grace flow through us, that we might bear fruit, the kind that remains, to the glory of the Father.
