Departing to Serve

Benediction God and Lord of all, he who created all things by his Word and who renews and recreates according to that same Word of power, open our eyes to see your Son, the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us. He is speaking the new Word of creation, and he is making all things new. You are the source of new life for us all. In Jesus’s name we pray, amen. Affirmation for the Day Sunday: God created everything that exists, visible and invisible. Monday: By faith we understand that the universe was created by the Word of God. Tuesday: God created all things ex nihilo ; he made everything visible out of nothing. Wednesday: Our God is the maker of the heavens and the earth, which are full of his glory. Thursday: The God and Father of Jesus is the only God. No other God exists but him alone. Friday: God made all things by the power of his Word; his Word has creative power and might. Saturday: All creation worships God, who alone is the source of its being and existence.
