Benediction Blessed Lord, by whose providence all holy Scriptures were written and preserved for our instruction, give us grace to study them this and every day with patience and love. Strengthen our souls with the fullness of their divine teaching. Keep us fromall pride and irreverence. Guide us in the deep things of thy heavenly wisdom, and of thy great mercy lead us by thyWord unto everlasting life; through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Affirmation for the Day Sunday: The Apostles were eyewitnesses to all that Jesus did. Monday: The testimony of the Apostles agrees with all the Prophets. Tuesday: The Apostles declare to us what they heard, saw, and even touched concerning the Word of life. Wednesday: We would not know anything about Jesus apart from the word of the Apostles. ~ B. F. Westcott, 1825-1901
