Affirmation for the Day Sunday: The Spirit has revealed the true identity of the Lord Jesus to everyone whose heart is tuned to hear of it. Monday: Even Mary and Joseph had to learn more and more of the true identity of Mary’s child, Jesus. Tuesday: Whoever has prepared his heart with hope and faith, the Spirit may reveal to them who Jesus is. Wednesday: Jesus is the salvation of God, prepared in the presence of all peoples. Thursday: Jesus is the light for revelation to the Gentiles, God’s revealed truth for the nations. Friday (Holy Name of Jesus/New Year’s Day): May the Lord bless us and keep us, make his face to shine upon us, be gracious to us, lifting up his countenance upon us, bringing his peace. Saturday: Jesus is the glory of God’s people Israel, fulfilling her hope of Messiah. Pray without Ceasing – Flash Prayer for the Day Dear Master and Lord, Simeon confirmed that truth about you which we hold dear – you are the light for the nations, you are the glory of your people, Israel.
