3. Gal. 4.4-7 (ESV) - But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons . Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.

C. Marriage

1. John 3.29 (ESV) - The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete. [Spoken by John the Baptist in reference to Christ.] 2. Eph. 5.31-32 (ESV) - “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh .” This is a profound mystery - but I am talking about Christ and the Church . 3. Rev. 19.7 (ESV) - Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.
