their own applications, reemphasize this key role of Christian leadership, and challenge them again to discover ways they can master these concepts and apply them practically as often as they can.
Congratulations! You have now come to the end of the module on the Church. It is now that your responsibility as an instructor and grader begins in earnest. Make sure that you have commitments for the ministry projects, exegetical projects, and other data together as this will be important for you to determine the student’s overall grade. Again, your discretion regarding late work can easily determine whether you dock students of points, resulting in letter grade changes, or give students an “Incomplete” until the work is finished. However you adopt your standard regarding their work, remember that our courses are not primarily about the grades that the students receive, but the spiritual nourishment and training these courses provide. Also, however, remember that helping our students strive for excellence is an integral part of our instruction. In every respect, make certain that your students prepare well for the remaining work and that they do not become complacent or lazy at this phase of the course. It is always difficult to finish strong, but that is exactly the challenge for them. They will reap a harvest of blessing, if they do not quit and give up (Gal. 6.9). Exhort them to complete their work with vigor and excellence, and model the same for them in the way you treat their material and exams.
