b. Guard your trails .

(1) Prov. 3.5-6 – Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. [6] In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (2) Col. 3.17 – And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. c. Guard your tongue . 1 Pet. 3.10-12 – For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; [11] let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. [12] For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” d. Guard your time . Eph. 5.15-18 – Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, [16] making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
