Appendix 36 Preaching and Teaching Jesus of Nazareth as Messiah and Lord Is the Heart of All Biblical Ministry Don L. Davis

Phil. 3.8 – Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ [Messiah] Jesus my Lord . For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ [Messiah].

Acts 5.42 – And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ [Messiah].

1 Cor. 1.23 – but we preach Christ [Messiah] crucified , a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles.

2 Cor. 4.5 – For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ [Messiah] as Lord , with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.

1 Cor. 2.2 – For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ [Messiah] and him crucified.

Eph. 3.8 – To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ [Messiah] . Phil. 1.18 – What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ [Messiah] is proclaimed , and in that I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice. Col. 1.27-29 – To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ [Messiah] in you, the hope of glory . [28] Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ [Messiah]. [29] For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.
