2. Solomon built the Temple for daily morning and evening sacrifice, 2 Chron. 2.4 – Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the Lord my God and dedicate it to him for the burning of incense of sweet spices before him, and for the regular arrangement of the showbread, and for burnt offerings morning and evening , on the Sabbaths and the new moons and the appointed feasts of the Lord our God, as ordained forever for Israel. 3. The entire cycle of time was included in Temple worship (daily [morning and evening], weekly, monthly, and annual gatherings), 2 Chron. 31.3 – The contribution of the king from his own possessions was for the burnt offerings: the burnt offerings of morning and evening , and the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths, the new moons, and the appointed feasts, as it is written in the Law of the Lord. 4. The sacrifices of the remnant after captivity provided for daily morning and evening sacrifices, Ezra 3.3 – They set the altar in its place, for fear was on them because of the peoples of the lands, and they offered burnt offerings on it to the LORD, burnt offerings morning and evening . 5. The Law of God specifically mandates it, Exod. 29.38-39 – Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two lambs a year old day by day regularly. [39] One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight . 1. He rose in the morning, Mark 1.35 – And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed. 2. He set aside time in the midst of his interactions, Mark 6.46 – And after he had taken leave of them, he went up on the mountain to pray.
