Phil. 4:6-7 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. [7] And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
V. S ilently wait for the Lord’s reply; be silent in his presence . Take a moment to wait in the presence of the Lord for his assurance, prompting, and answers.
Hab. 2.20 – But the Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him.
Ps. 46.10 – Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
Isa. 40.30-31 – Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; [31] but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. VI. S ay a benediction, affirmation, closing prayer, or Word of Scripture . Close your sacrifice with one of the biblical benedictions, or affirm a promise, and thank God for this moment of sacrifice and count on his love and faithfulness for the day or the evening. Num. 6.24-26 – The Lord bless you and keep you; [25] the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; [26] the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
Ps. 67.1 – May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us. Selah
