b. Results of the Spiritual Life Survey from over 45,000 Christian College Students.

2. Speaking about spiritual classics together show us how to speak about Scripture and our personal relationship with God.

a. The spiritual classics show us how the wise leaders from the past to whom we have apprenticed ourselves listened to God’s voice in Scripture. b. We listen to Augustine, Benedict, Thurman, and Teresa speak about Scripture. The Scripture indexes at the end of each spiritual classic reveal that these wise leaders are speaking about Scripture constantly. c. We also hear these wise leader speak about their love for God and gain insight into the intimate relationship they had with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
