b. Luke 1.31-33 – And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. [32] He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, [33] and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his Kingdom there will be no end.

c. 1 Pet. 2.9 – But you are a chosen race, a royal priest hood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession , that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

d. Rev. 1.5-6 – and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood [6] and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 4. The extraordinary glory of Solomon’s kingdom is associated with the person of Jesus Christ himself, Matt. 12.40-42 – For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. [41] The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judg ment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, some thing greater than Jonah is here. [42] The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.
