The devil is a liar (lies and deception are his most effective and cunning tactical approach and weapon), John 8.44 – You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” 3. We do spiritual battle with the enemy through our handling (quoting and use of) the Holy Scriptures, Eph. 6.16-17 – In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; [17] and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
