B. Connection to your ministry in the city and the church

1. How might I help those to whom I minister understand the power and grace associated with the lowliness and obedience of our Lord Jesus?

2. Do I “water down” the Gospel and its cost, either for myself or for those who sit under my counsel and teaching?

3. How might I better help those I minister with and to understand the power of the lowliness of Jesus for discipleship, obedience, and mission?

Prayer and Affirmation to God:

Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. ~ 1 John 2.6

May God give us the strength and the grace to reflect in our thoughts, words, and deeds the lowliness and humility of the One who has redeemed us from our sins, to the praise of the glory of his grace, we ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
