1. The biblical idea
a. Gal. 6.9 – And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
b. Isa. 40.30-31 – Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; [31] but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
c. 2 Cor. 4.16 – So we do not lose heart. Though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day.
d. Heb. 3.14 – For we share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.
e. Heb. 10.35-36 – Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. [36] For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
