(1) 2 Cor. 10.3-5 – For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. [4] For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. [5] We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ. (2) Prov. 15.26 – The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord, but gracious words are pure. (4) Isa. 55.7 – let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. (5) Matt. 15.19 – For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. (6) Heb. 4.12 – For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (3) Prov. 24.9 – The devising of folly is sin, and the scoffer is an abomination to mankind.
