A Compe l l i ng Tes t imony
We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. [7] To you, O Lord, belongs righteousness, but to us open shame, as at this day, to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, those who are near and those who are far away, in all the lands to which you have driven them, because of the treachery that they have committed against you.
4. Corporate silence in the presence of the Lord acknowledging his holiness and glory, Hab. 2.20 – But the Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him.

a. 2 Chron. 20.3-4 – Then Jehoshaphat was afraid and set his face to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. [4] And Judah assembled to seek help from the Lord; from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.
b. Ps. 50.15 – . . . and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.
c. Ps. 60.10-12 – Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go forth, O God, with our armies. [11] Oh, grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man! [12] With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.
