10. Discover blended worship styles , i.e., those styles which deliberately seek to include both ancient and contem porary elements in every expression of worship, for the sake of solidarity over the entire history of the church
11. Prepare well for worship experience: physical rest, examination and confession, reviewing Scripture, interceding for the teacher, leaders, and participants
12. Gather with a mind to experience the Lord together, and use your gifts for our corporate sacrifice of praise to the Lord .
13. Offer your sacrifice of praise in the body even when no feelings are present to go or attend it; go to the service because God is worthy , not because you feel great .
a. Let your praise be sacrificial, Heb. 13.15.
b. Let God’s majesty stomp all senses of hypocrisy. (Rejoice is a command not a request !)
(1) 1 Thess. 5.16 – Rejoice always.
(2) 2 Cor. 6.10 – As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything.
(3) Phil. 4.4 – Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.
