(1) Heb. 5.12-14 – For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, [13] for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. [14] But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil. (2) 1 Tim. 4.7-8 – Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; [8] for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, [13] waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, [14] who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. (3) Titus 2.11-14 – For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, [12] training us
b. Through our expressions of worship : singing, dancing, clapping, rejoicing
c. Through our prayers : of thanksgiving, affirmation, and acknowledgment of God’s numberless blessings on our lives
d. Through our noise : deliberately shouting and expressing our rejoicing in a corporeal sense
