8. Songs and Expressions of Thanksgiving: After hearing from the Lord, set some time aside to thank the Lord for his mercy and grace, and express that gratitude in song and worship. 9. Holy Communion and Re-dedication: If the time and discipline permits, arrange to take Holy Communion with others, and dedicate yourself afresh to the Lord, making yourself again unconditionally available to obey his commands as he directs and provides. 10. Benediction: Close your time of retreat and reflection with a prayer of affirmation and petition to God, expressing your thanks to him for what he has done, and glory to his name for his marvelous grace displayed to you as you took time to be in his presence.
