with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
4. James 5.7 – Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. 5. Rom. 8.24-25 – For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? [25] But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. 6. Rom. 15.4 – For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. 8. Heb. 12.1-3 – Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, [2] looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. [3] Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted. 7. Gal. 5.5 – For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness.
9. Eccles. 3.1 – To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.
