2. All things come to completion in their time , which God has appointed, Eccles. 3.11 – He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. 3. You cannot rush the harvest of God . He has built into the very fiber of the world a timing that only he can determine and fulfill. To reap a spiritual harvest you must learn to sow righteously and wait on the Lord to fulfill his plan in his own time. a. Ps. 27.13-14 – I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! [14] Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! b. Hos. 10.12 – Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you. 4. The wicked are fully confident in their evil because they do not realize that their day of harvest is coming, Eccles. 8.11-13 – Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil. [12] Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and prolongs his life, yet I know that it will be well with those who fear God, because they fear before him. [13] But it will not be well with the wicked, neither will he prolong his days like a shadow, because he does not fear before God.
