2. Watch out for grumbling and complaining, James 5.7-9 – Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. [8] You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. [9] Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door. 3. Embrace the power of the “mean time” (remember Ishmael, that is, the power of doubt comes strongest when we are waiting for the manifestation of the thing we have been striving for).

VI. Law Six: You Will Always Reap More Than You Sow.

A. The biblical support

1. Hos. 8.7a – For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind.

2. Job 4.8 – As I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same.

3. Prov. 22.8 – Whoever sows injustice will reap calamity, and the rod of his fury will fail.

4. Hos. 10.13 – You have plowed iniquity; you have reaped injustice; you have eaten the fruit of lies. Because you have trusted in your own way and in the multitude of your warriors . . .

5. Prov. 11.18 – The wicked earns deceptive wages, but one who sows righteousness gets a sure reward.

6. Ps. 126.5-6 – Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! [6] He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.
