I. Believe that replacing yourself with indigenous leaders is biblical.

II. Communicate intentions.

A. Communicate to the indigenous leaders from the beginning and throughout the church planting process that the goal is for them to replace you as leaders of the church.

B. Help them understand (from the very beginning) that your role is to equip and empower them to lead the planted church.

III. Determine when to transfer leadership.

A. Foundations must be in place.

c. Great Commission

3. Statement of Faith: must have sound doctrine

4. Three key ministries
