C O N V E R S I O N A N D C A L L I N G

Ask God the Holy Spirit to illumine your heart regarding the life-giving power and divine energy which animates and fills the Word of God. Ask God to give you greater insight into the meaning of the Word of God, and to give you more and better time to spend reading, studying, memorizing and meditating on the Word in your life during the week. Pray too that God would make the sermons and teachings from your church come alive for you as you listen and meditate on these truths. Above all, ask God to use you more and more as a Spirit-taught teacher of the Word of God to make the person and purpose of God more plain through your teaching. The better you understand the Word of God, the more it seeps into your own soul and mind and influences you, the greater the impact your ministry and witness will have, both in your church and through the various responsibilities God has given you to represent him.
