Other Assignments
In our final lesson we will look at the holy Word of God as The Word that Calls . We will learn how the Word calls us to discipleship, to live the adventure of his story in a committed life of discipleship. We are asked to make ourselves unconditionally available to Jesus that we might love him supremely, taking on the identity of aliens and sojourners in this world, as those who have become bondslaves to his glory. All that we are and have in this life should become devoted to knowing God and making him known as his bondslaves in this world. Furthermore, we’ll explore how the Word of God calls us to live and work in community, to live free in Christ as an opportunity for love and evangelism, and to mission; fulfilling the Great Commission, doing battle with our spiritual enemy the devil, and demonstrating the life of the Kingdom through our love and good works.
