own thoughts and insights at this point, and observe what the Lord might be suggesting to you about your own focus or application of these insights in your work today. What, in particular, is the Holy Spirit suggesting to you in regards to your own mastery of the content of Good News, especially your ability to defend and display the person of Christ in your sharing with others? What particular situation comes to mind when you think about how the Lord may want you to make even clearer the truth as it is in Christ? Ask the Lord to clarify your own specific areas of connection on these and other related points. Do not hesitate to do additional study in this area with your mentor or others, as the Lord leads. Perhaps you need to rehearse these truths to become better acquainted with the Scriptures on these subjects, or the Lord is asking you to meditate on these and other texts to get a better grasp of the content of the Good News. Ask the Holy Spirit to direct you as you continue to equip yourself in your ability both to share and to prepare others to share the Good News of Christ.

Also, now is the time to begin to think about the character of your ministry project, as well as decide what passage of Scripture you will select for your exegetical project. These assignments will be upon you quickly, so do not delay in determining either of them. The sooner you identify your interests and select your topics, the more time you will have to prepare!
