We have now covered some of the essential foundational issues regarding evangelism and spiritual warfare. We understand its theological roots in the Fall and the Curse, and the new hope we receive through understanding evangelism as the declaration of God’s deliverance through Christ. Evangelism is both the proclamation of the message of salvation in Christ and its demonstration in love and service to others. We have also seen how the Nicene Creed reveals the Christ-centered nature of the Christian Gospel. In our next lesson, we will turn our attention to understand the ways in which our very lives, words, and deeds can reach men and women in our unreached, urban neighborhoods.
