You will be responsible to now apply the insights of your module in a practicum that you and your mentor agree to. The ramifications of the concept of the poor for Christian mission is clear. We simply cannot afford to miss such a central concept, especially as it relates to the very legitimacy of our professed faith. In your sharing of the insights of this lesson in your ministry project you will want to think practically about how your teaching can influence the devotional life, prayers, and spiritual ministry you currently have in your church. How might the insights covered in this lesson influence your attitude at work, your relationship with your spouse or friends, or affect your attitude about where you live? What makes the Word come alive in our experience is our ability to correlate teaching with our lives and in our ministries. Your ministry project is an opportunity to make this connection. In the next days you will have the opportunity to share these insights in real-life, actual ministry environments. Pray that God will give you insight into his ways as you share your insights in your projects. In this, the last lesson in this module, search your heart before the Lord: are there any remaining issues, persons, situations, or opportunities that you need the Spirit’s leading and direction to respond to? Were there specific insights about the poor and our responsibility to them in this lesson that you need help and support in, things to change, to learn, to stop, to start? What particular issues or people has God laid
