the lesson’s thesis. In everything you do, try to find ways to make these objectives come alive for the students and gauge your effectiveness by your ability to emphasize them from beginning to the end of your class period. Press these ideas strongly for, in a very real sense, these concepts lie at the center of your learning sessions for this lesson. Everything you discuss, suggest, and do ought to, in some way, point back to these objectives. Find ways to highlight these at every turn, to reinforce them and reiterate them as you go. This devotion reaffirms the biblical testimony that the existence of the heavens and earth serve as sure evidence of God the Father Almighty's existence. Creation also serves as notice to those who pretend that no evidence exists for the reality of God in the universe. The idea of God refusing to bicker and banter around with people about his existence is a clear emphasis throughout this module. We do not study the knowledge of God in order to put God on trial, but rather to acknowledge our need of him who is both our Maker and our Lord. The idea that God needs to defend himself to his creation is a ludicrous idea in the Bible, and this devotion seeks, right from the beginning, to make plain that in the study of God, the Lord is never on trial. As Lord and Creator, all things are his, and we belong to him. Humility must govern every phase and part of what we are doing in our study of the Lord. Ps. 24.1-2 - The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, [2] for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. Deut. 10.14 - Behold, to the Lord your God belong heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth with all that is in it. 1 Chron. 29.11 - Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. Job 41.11 - Who has first given to me, that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is mine.
