Reading Assignment
Take careful note of all the assignments which are due for our next session above, and make certain that you again write a brief summary for each of your reading portions. Bring your listing of the main points to class next week (please see the “Reading Completion Sheet” at the end of this lesson). Also, now is the time for you to think about the ministry project that will be due before the end of the module, as well which particular passage of Scripture you will select to do your exegetical project. Make sure that you neither procrastinate nor delay in determining either your ministry or exegetical project. The more you are aware of your ministry project, and the sooner you select your study passage, the more time you will have to prepare, and the better your work will be! In our next lesson we will study together one of the great mysteries of the doctrine of God, the doctrine of the Trinity, or God’s triune nature. We will learn that the Bible teaches us that there is only one God, and yet this same God reveals himself as God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Scriptures declare that the one true God possesses a trinitarian nature, and that the members of the Trinity are one, diverse, and equal, the one true God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We will also explore the glorious greatness of our God in his spirituality, his life, his personality, his infinite character, and his unchanging essence.
