(2) What brings you godly fulfillment?

Eph. 2.10 says, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” When we do what we were created for it brings a sense of purpose and fulfillment. This doesn’t mean that ministering in our spiritual gifts doesn’t involve sacrifice, effort, and even frustration. It does mean that at the core of our being we know that we are fulfilling our God-given purpose and that we are taking our place in helping the Church fulfil the mission God has given it. The Spirit is the living, speaking voice of God. If the Spirit is the giver of gifts, he is also the one who guides us into understanding what our gifts are. (4) What have others in your church (especially leaders) said about your gifts? Spiritual gifts exist to strengthen and empower the Church so that it can accomplish its mission. In the long run, what you think about your gifts is far less important than what your congregation and its leadership thinks. They are the ones who know best of all whether the Holy Spirit is using you in a particular way to help them. It is a key job of pastors to help people determine what spiritual gifts each member has and to help them to develop and use those gifts in the most productive way. Ask your leaders what gifts they see in you and take their input seriously. (3) What is the inner witness of the Holy Spirit?
