» At conversion, the Holy Spirit regenerates us (makes us new people) so that we both want to obey God and have the power to do so. » At conversion, the Holy Spirit adopts us into God’s family so that can we experience his constant presence with us, be treated as God’s sons and daughters, and be joined to God’s household which is the Church.
