C. Once all enemies have been subdued under Christ’s feet, including death, then Christ will transfer the Kingdom to God, who will then become the universe’s All in all. 1 Cor. 15.24-25, 28 - Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. [25] For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. [28] When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.
1. Christ will entrust the kingdom rule to God.
4
2. God will become All-in-all.
IV. The Implications of the Return of Jesus Christ
Isa. 62.11 - Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, “Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.” Rev. 22.12-13 - Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done. [13] I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
