(2) John 3.35 – The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.
(3) John 5.22-23 – The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, [23] that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

Note: Everything that proceeds in the upper room discourse and interactions is predicated on what Jesus had come to be aware of at this particular moment. In a sense, this statement is unique in all of the Gospel accounts for it shows the fullness of Jesus’ knowledge regarding his exalted and unique state and relationship with the Father. This makes what is about to happen all that more important, dramatic, and unexpected.
4. At the moment of his full realization of his exalted glory, our Lord Jesus washes the disciples’ feet, 13.4-5 (note the verbs in the English text).
