• Jesus of Nazareth is our Loving and Suffering Servant who washes the feet of the disciples as our example of the meaning of true discipleship and Christian love. • The only way to true relationship to the Father and authentic spirituality is through belief in Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life ; no one can come to the Father except through him. • As the source of all life and power, and the sender of the Spirit of truth into the earth for his people, Jesus is our Vine , the sole giver of life and power that will enable us to with stand the persecution and hatred of the world through his Helper, the Holy Spirit.
