ABOUT THE AUTHORS

T he four authors of this book have trained trauma healing facili- tators using these materials since 2002. Harriet Hill received her Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies fromFuller Seminary in 2003 and serves as Program Director for the Trauma Healing Institute at American Bible Society. Richard Baggé received his M.D. in 1971 fromJeffersonMedical College (Philadelphia), completed a residency in Psychiatry at Duke University Medical School (North Carolina) in 1981, and serves as the Counseling Ministry Coordinator for SIL in Africa. Margaret Hill received her master’s degree in education from the University of Manchester, UK, and serves with SIL as the Scripture Engagement Coordinator for Africa. Pat Miersma received her M.N. as a Mental Health Nurse/Ethnic Clinical Specialist from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1984 and serves as International Counseling Coordinator/Consultant with SIL.
