Additionally, worried Traditionals can have a new perspective about the state of the world, the nation, the decaying American culture, the economy, or who controls the White House, Supreme Court, and Congress. While all American Christians should vigorously engage in politics and cultural preservation as an expression of social justice, they do not need to do so from a posture of fear. It is Jesus’ role to consummate his Kingdom. It will not be ushered in by Democrats or Republicans. Nostalgic Eras While the 1950s was a nostalgic era for many white evangelicals, it was far from ideal for the Black church in America. Other eras may hold nostalgia for Traditionals, but no era compares with the future hope that he has prepared for those who long for his appearing (2 Tim. 4.8, Rev. 21.1-5). Shifting the Paradigm of the Pragmatic Method Pragmatics will have the most difficultly re-shaping their identity based on Sacred Roots because pragmatism has become so ingrained in their psyche. Without knowing it, they utilize the Marketing Concept in almost every decision, so they need a whole new worldview. The Pragmatic has to throw years of assumptions overboard. For some, it may be as difficult as breaking an addiction.

For example, they may find it counter-intuitive to consider that attendance and budget are not sacred measuring tools. Rather than
