Chapter 4: Victory and Rescue (Incarnation, Temptation, Miracles, Resurrection) Biblical Period: Matt. 1.1 - Acts 1.11 The Savior comes to deal a disarming blow to his enemy. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3.8).

The Savior reveals his plan of a people assigned to take progressive ownership from the enemy as they enjoy a foretaste of the Kingdom to come. Through the Church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord (Ephesians 3.10-11). Chapter 6: The Final Conflict (The Second Coming) Biblical Period: Rev. 4-22
The Savior returns to destroy his enemy, marry his Bride, and resume his rightful place on the throne. Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
