Conclusion The Kingdom of God has come in the person of Jesus Christ. As Lord of all, he has defeated Satan and death, paid the debt for our sins, loosed us from the chains of death, and birthed us again to a living hope through his resurrection from the grave. As those united to him by faith, let us allow the living Christ to transform every dimension of our lives as we participate in his life through the Word of God, the body of Christ, and the discipline of the Church Year. Looking Ahead God’s desire for all his children is that they grow to full maturity, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ himself (Eph. 4.9-16). In our final chapter, we will explore the profile of a maturing disciple of Christ, one who is not only growing in him, but is also bearing fruit through evangelism and discipling others.
