2. They daily put on the armor of God, Eph. 6.10-13; Eph. 6.14-18.

3. They confront the enemy in spiritual conflict, 1 Pet. 5.8-9; James 4.7.

4. They have learned to endure hardness, 2 Tim. 2.3-4; James 1.12.

5. They do not shrink back in the face of trial or persecution, Heb. 10.36-39; Heb. 12.1-3.

H. Mature disciples share their lives in common with others.

1. They regularly assemble with the saints, Heb. 10.24-25; Matt. 18.20.

2. They honor those who provide pastoral care, Heb. 13.7; 1 Tim. 5.17.

3. They respect in all things both home and family, Col. 3.18-21; Eph. 6.1-4.

4. They strive to honor Christ in their work and vocation, Eph. 6.5-8; 1 Pet. 2.18.
