2. They are grounded in sound doctrine, Titus 1.9; 1 Tim. 4.6.

3. They contend for the ancient, true faith, Jude 1.3; Phil. 1.27.

4. They teach the orthodox faith, 1 Tim. 6.3-5; Titus 2.7-8.

5. They strive to advance the Kingdom of God, Luke 11.15-20; Matt. 11.11-12.

F. Mature disciples share a compelling testimony .

1. They possess a clear conscience, 1 Tim. 1.5; 2 Cor. 1.12.

2. They demonstrate and maintain integrity, 2 Cor. 4.1-2; Ps. 15.1-5.

3. They have proven themselves dependable and reliable, Prov. 20.6-7; Phil. 2.20-22.

4. In all things they strive for excellence, 1 Cor. 10.31-32; Eph. 5.15-17.

5. They hold a good reputation with outsiders, Col. 4.5-6; 1 Tim. 3.7.
