To master the Bible, we must interpret it so as to see Jesus of Nazareth as the fulfillment of the promised Messiah, the great divine warrior who would establish the Kingdom of God on earth, for God’s glory!

1. Jesus’ mission : as Messiah to destroy the works of the devil, 1 John 3.8

2. Jesus’ birth : as Messiah to invade this earth and establish God’s Kingdom in Satan’s dominion, Luke 1.31-33

3. Jesus’ message : Messiah’s prophetic word of the Kingdom’s proclamation and inauguration, Mark 1.14-15

4. Jesus’ teaching : the Messiah’s teaching of the Kingdom of God, Matt. 5-7

5. Jesus’ miracles : sign of the Messiah’s kingly authority and power, Mark 2.8-12

6. Jesus’ casting out demons : Messiah’s defeat of the devil and his angels, Luke 11.14-20

7. Jesus’ life : Messiah displayed the majesty of God and the Kingdom, John 1.14-18

8. Jesus’ resurrection : Messiah’s victory and vindication as King, Rom. 1.1-4

9. Jesus’ commission : Messiah’s call to proclaim his Kingdom worldwide, Matt. 28.18-20
