Tuesday, June 9, 2009 9:00 a.m. Pick up cake, BD 9:00 a.m. Pick up or make corsages for ushers & servers, DH/CH 9:45 a.m. Prepare coffee and hot water, BD 5:15 p.m. Set out light snacks, bottled water in Caleb 5:30 p.m. Meet graduates and bring to Caleb to prepare for Ceremony, LR ~ Help them get their robes, stoles, and hats on ~ Carolyn take first ready for photos 5:40 p.m. Take pictures of graduates individually once “suited up,” CH

~ Take picture of Don/Terry together and separately in full academic regalia ~ See if you can cycle through all before 6:10 (obviously dependent upon their timeliness) ~ Get picture of graduates with the cake (before service begins) ~ Get picture of musician playing keyboard ~ Take photos of ushers seating and ushers helping students up stairs ~ Take pictures of graduates and others in Caleb before ceremony begins 5:50 p.m. Meet ushers and give programs and instructions to them, and corsage, LE 6:00 p.m. Meet graduates, Terry, Daren, Jerry in Caleb for final instruction, (ushers too if they are here), make sure they get corsages, LE/DD/LR 6:10 p.m. Meet musician (Barbara), pin on corsage, and get her started, LE 6:15 p.m. Greet guests and hand bulletins, ushers 6:15 p.m. Plug in coffee and hot water, BD 6:30 p.m. Start Ceremony 6:30 p.m. Lorna signals for Processional by coming in and sitting down in front, Barbara starts playing Holy, Holy, Holy (Lorna stands up when music starts to play [and remains standing]; processional starts ~ Carolyn stands up front taking pictures as all come in, Dan also video recording throughout (Carolyn take shots during graduation service – be sure to get Don, Terry, Daren, Jerry at the podium, take some shots of the audience too and as students are processing and recessing) ~ Don enters, followed by Terry, Daren, Penny Meg, Val, Daren, Scripture Reader, Jerry 6:35 p.m. (Don seats everyone) Welcome & Intro, Don (invites Daren up) 6:40 p.m. Invocation, Daren (Daren then asks everyone to turn to Hymn “Crown Him with Many Crowns” in their programs, Barbara will lead hymn but Daren stays up front until song is finished) 6:43 p.m. Hymn, Crown Him with Many Crowns, Barbara leads (when hymn is complete, Daren seats everyone, then walks down as Scripture Reader walks up)
